Body Shop Administrative Support

Pye Chevrolet Buick GMC is growing and is searching for an organized individual to join our team as a full-time position of Body Shop Admin Support. We take pride in our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview: As a Body Shop Admin Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Body Shop. You will provide essential Administrative Support to our team, helping us deliver top-notch service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on parts orders.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts with insurance.
• Update insurance of status of repair.
• Verify paid work orders to be scanned.
• Update tracking spreadsheet.
• Verify approvals/supplements and not approved.
• Scan documents and add them to insurance files.
• Track parts and purchase orders.
• Organize parts for upcoming repair.
• Allow the scheduling of appointments for repairs and estimates.
• Send reminders to customers about upcoming appointments.
• Communicate with customers and/or insurance companies through emails or phone.
• Handle customer inquiries.
• Obtain customer authorization.

Qualifications:

• Work experience in customer service is required.
• Previous automotive or accounting experience is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of automotive terminology is a plus.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
