Pye Chevrolet Buick GMC is growing and is searching for an organized individual to join our team as a full-time position of Body Shop Admin Support. We take pride in our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview: As a Body Shop Admin Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Body Shop. You will provide essential Administrative Support to our team, helping us deliver top-notch service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on parts orders.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts with insurance.
- Update insurance of status of repair.
- Verify paid work orders to be scanned.
- Update tracking spreadsheet.
- Verify approvals/supplements and not approved.
- Scan documents and add them to insurance files.
- Track parts and purchase orders.
- Organize parts for upcoming repair.
- Allow the scheduling of appointments for repairs and estimates.
- Send reminders to customers about upcoming appointments.
- Communicate with customers and/or insurance companies through emails or phone.
- Handle customer inquiries.
- Obtain customer authorization.
Qualifications:
- Work experience in customer service is required.
- Previous automotive or accounting experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of automotive terminology is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
