```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Body Shop Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Body Shop Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, fulfilling orders, and assisting with automotive repair needs. The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
```Responsibilities`
- Greet all customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Address customer and technician requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock is properly organized
- Collaborate with the service department to fulfill repair orders
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions
-Reorder stock parts and empty bin parts
-Sell accessories and parts
-Check off all parts arrivals and receipt the orders in CDK
-The ability to read, analyze and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
-Builds and maintains good working relations with insurance adjusters.
-Learn how to read insurance estimates.
-Follow all Body Shop policies and procedures.
-Learn the repair process.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and availability of parts
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
```Skills```
- Retail sales experience, preferably in an automotive or related industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of automotive repair and parts terminology
- Engage in ongoing professional training as per OEM, SGI,ICAR
- Proficient in using a point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and fulfill orders promptly
- Ability to negotiate pricing with vendors to ensure competitive pricing for customers
- Sales management skills to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth
Requirements:
-Gr.12 High School Diploma
-Automotive Part Knowledge
-Computer Knowledge
-Valid Driver License
-Excellent Customer Service Skills
