Bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with accounting software such as Business Vision and Sage Accounting software.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

-Government remittances

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of corporate accounting procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
