Duties
- Greet and provide general information to clients and the public.
- Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries.
- Sort, process, verify, and organize invoices, receipts, and other documents received from clients.
- Perform bookkeeping and payroll processing tasks.
- Match, reconcile bank transactions, and save.
- Maintain CCH job status up to date.
- Remind clients about minimum wage and stats holidays when needed.
- Prepare source deduction calculations and notify clients by the 10th of every month.
- Report to senior bookkeeper.
- Follow workflow and all business procedures.
- Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary graduate.
- Legal to work in Canada.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Result-driven.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Have at least one year of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Accounting software proficiency (Sage 50 and/ or QuickBooks.)
- Ability to prioritize.
- Some supervisory experiences (asset)
- Mandarin (asset)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
