Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:30am– 4:30pm, Full-Time, Permanent Position.

About the role
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in a finance team within a rapidly expanding company. Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily verification and entry of all wire payment purchase order deposit payments for overseas
- Verify and or dispute all UPS invoices.
- Preparing cheque requisitions for all payables
- Act as point of contact for vendors, responding to inquiries.
- Notify CEO/Finance of any discrepancies.
- Post Rent, and utilities – Process expense reports and Monthly Commission report for 3 sales people
- Record and post all Customer wire prepayments received.
- Performs related clerical functions with Accounting Dept. such as Filing and maintain accounting records,
- Match company and coding accounts, reconcile credit card charges for posting and payment.
- Assisting with month-end and year end tasks
- Follow up on all past due customer accounts.
- Payroll entries.
- Daily verification and entry of all payable invoices
- Preparing reports using excel and assisting management with other duties as required.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of accounting experience
- College/University Degree in Accounting/Business Administration is preferred.
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines and importance of tasks.
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills & Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, Sage 50, Netsuite
- Familiarity with full cycle accounting functions
- A team player with high attention to detail and precise operating methodology and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication in English (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work alone and in a team environment as well as a self-starter with a positive attitude.
