Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Payroll; entering schedules, editing punches, maintaining employee data files, verifying & transmitting payrollSupports front end operations
Employee file maintenance; reviewing new hire, orientation and training packages, completing updates, terminations, benefits, etc.
Receiving log; entering invoices, credits & transfers, cross balance with backdoor log, file invoices accordingly
Inventory; assisting with accounting procedures with perishable inventories
Adhering to Company policies and procedures, and government regulations.
Adheres to the department’s assigned budget
Managing and directing activities pertaining to department staff including hiring, coaching, and training
Ensuring proper ordering, purchasing and inventory control and develops and implements strategic plans to achieve projected gross profits
Implementing and ensuring adherence to the Customer Service Policy
Providing support with overall store operations including store opening and closing
Performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Bookkeeper Requirements
Superior customer service skills
Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Strong computers skills, BDMS, MS-Office, Word and Excel applications
Capable of standing for a prolonged period of 4-8 hours; of bending, twisting and turning and reaching; and of lifting up to 55 lbs.
Available to work days, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, as required
