Bookkeeper

The Cowichan Valley Arts Council is looking for a contract bookkeeper to look after monthly reconciliation, and support preparation of annual Financial Statements & tax returns. We manage much of our day-to-day bookkeeping internally.

We anticipate most months will require 12 - 14 hours. There may be occasional busier times (vacation, major events).

This is primarily a remote position, with Zoom or in-person meetings as needed.

We use Sage 50, Stripe and Square. Experience working with non-profits, charities and/or BC Gaming Community Grants is an asset.
