THE ROLE

Based in Vancouver, BC, Page Two is looking for a seasoned Bookkeeper to support the Finance team with full-cycle accounting activities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Bookkeeper is responsible for handling the day-to-day accounting tasks, and should have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability skills.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the full cycle accounting activities, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly financials, semi-monthly payroll, quarterly GST/HST, annual EHT and WCB returns.
• Process and review incoming and outgoing invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain billing and invoicing systems, ensuring that all documentation and records are accurately recorded and up to date.
• Generate and send out invoices to customers via various channels, such as email, electronic billing systems, or traditional mail.
• Collaborate with the CFO to reconcile payments and resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies.
• Prepare regular reports on invoicing and payment status, providing insights to management on outstanding balances and collections efforts.
• Stay informed about changes in invoicing and payment regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

Experience required

• Registered Professional Bookkeeper or Certified Professional Bookkeeper
• 3 years of Quickbooks Online experience
• 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Adaptability to a changing environment
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• QuickBooks: 3 years (required)
