Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
- Perform account reconciliation and analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and maintain budgets, including monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure proper recording of transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with volunteers to gather necessary financial information
Skills:
- Experience with not-for-profit accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting QuickBooks, CanadaHelps, Helcim, Excel, and online banking software
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and analysis techniques
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
