Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and financial reports are accurate.

Duties:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded

- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions

- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports

- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero or Quickbooks)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
