Bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. Applicants would have previous education and/or experience as a bookkeeper and be comfortable and familiar working with technology in an online environment. Applicants would also have great attention to detail, be highly accurate in their work, and have a good eye for spotting errors.

Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconcile bank and other Balance Sheet accounts, resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain internal invoice management system.
• Manage Accounts Payable and maintain vendor records.
• Assist managers with Accounts Receivable tasks.
• Potential to take on compliance reporting and remittances, dependent upon experience.
• Provide general administrative support, as required.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience as a bookkeeper preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
