Bookkeeper

This position preference is full time but may work with someone on part time bases depending on experience.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key part in ensuring the financial stability and success of our company.

```Responsibilities```
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
- Utilize accounting software, currently quickbooks
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using quickbooks accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Post secondary course in Accounting or related field is preferred

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
