Crown Shred & Recycling are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at our new Material Recovery Facility as a Broker Assistant. The chosen candidate will play a key role in supporting Brokerage and Logistics activities, including data entry, and reporting to the Brokerage and Logistic Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistical activities related to the transportation and delivery of recycling materials
- Perform accurate and timely data entry to maintain comprehensive records of all shipping and Logistical operations
- Assist in communicating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics management
- Generate regular reports on logistics activities and performance for review by the Brokerage and Logistic Manager
- Support the brokerage team with administrative tasks and documentation management
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining detailed records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in logistics, brokerage, or a related field is advantageous
- Familiarity with relevant software for data entry and reporting
