Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and track departmental budgets
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes
- Prepare regular financial reports, including budget variance analysis and forecasting
- Identify areas of cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Oversee the implementation of financial systems and tools
Qualifications:
A University Degree in Accounting or a related discipline with 2 years of related experience or completion of a 2-year Diploma in Business- Accounting related discipline with 3 years of proven progressive experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting principles and practices
- Proficient in financial analysis and forecasting techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Excel
