Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift - 8:00am start time

Hourly Wage: $28.00-$33.00/hour depending on experience

Overview:

• Report to Plant Manager
• Oversee and lead a team of junior and senior Building Maintenance personnel
• Ensure Maintenance Team is meeting timeline and quality expectations
• Assist with general Building Maintenance and repair including plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry
• Plan and source materials
• Use of hand and power tools
• Regular heavy lifting; prolonged standing
• Use of pallet jack, forklift, and scissor lift
• Working at heights as needed
• General cleaning of workspace
• Use of proper PPE and chemical handling
• Other general labour tasks as required

What you’ll Bring:

• Minimum 1 year of management or Supervisory experience required; experience leading, organizing, and scheduling a team
• Minimum 5 years of Building Maintenance or renovation-related experience
• Drywall and flooring experience required
• Forklift certification preferred but willing to train
• Working at Heights certification preferred but willing to train
• Mechanically inclined and proven experience using hand and power tools
• Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks
• Proven high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment
