Building Maintenance Technician

This unique hands on position provides the opportunity to assist in the renovation of the Best Western Hotel.

Primary Responsibilities:

Completes full duties of a Building Maintenance Technician.

• Works in the rooms and property to renovate and maintain the hotel.
• Fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
• Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.
• Willingness and ability to work weekends and over night shifts when required.
• Other related duties
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to fix and operate related equipment
• Must have excellent customer service skills, integrity and ability to take initiative.
• Must have good time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to physically conduct duties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
