Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers along a pre-assigned route
- Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules and stops
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior and exterior
- Complete e-logs and reports
- Handle various mobility devices and equipment, including wheelchairs
- Understand and be empathetic to the needs of customers, ensuring proper care and attention is provided
- Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
- Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Class 1 or Class 2 Commercial Driver’s Licence with air brake
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 1 year motor coach experience
- Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
- Willing to travel locally, provincially and nationally
- Willing to work various hours and shifts (including holidays, weekends and evenings)
