These are exciting times at The Salvation Army as we launch a significant digital and business transformation. We are in the midst of revolutionizing our core capabilities to maximize service and mission outcomes. This will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehouse. In order to achieve all this, we are now recruiting for a strong, experienced Business Analyst to join our Digital Experience team. This role will support our Digital Experience team in continuing to build a state-of-the-art intranet, enable improved content & knowledge management and enhance the employee experience to access new services and applications.
What you will do in this role:
- Reporting to the Director - Digital Experience Engineering, lead the assessment of current business processes, anticipate requirements and uncover areas of improvement,
- Support business strategy and transformation creating and implementing solutions while driving consensus among business units including process ownership and governance.
- Create and maintain strong documentation of business requirements, processes and reports.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members, and management and leadership.
- Build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, support them in understanding implications of business decisions and share feedback as well as progress updates
- Work with functional experts across other technology projects to ensure the integration of new and existing business processes and approaches
- Bachelor's degree in business studies, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology or relevant graduate qualifications including CBAP certification;
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework;
- 2-3 years hands on experience performing Business Analyst functions in complex organizations;
- Experience with SharePoint is an asset;
- Pragmatism and ability to simply communicate complex problems and solutions;
- Demonstrated ability to document business process, procedures and requirements in a straightforward manner;
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build strong trust-based relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders;
- Proven ability to prioritize, schedule and perform work to meet deadlines and commitments, and work within a team environment.

The salary range for this position is $58,719 (min.) to $88,079 (max). Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
