We are presently in search of two (2) dynamic and collaborative Business Analysts, Inventory Management to join our team, responsible for overseeing inventory balancing across the division.

Role overview:

Reporting to the Senior Director, CVS Canada, this role will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of cash and valuables across the entire CVS division in Canada, ensuring accurate tracking, balancing, and maintaining sufficient levels to meet operational needs. Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders ensuring inventory availability meets customer demand, while coordinating with auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the inventory of cash and valuables, ensuring accurate tracking, and maintaining adequate levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Conducting regular reconciliations of inventory levels against records and investigating any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures to safeguard inventory against theft, loss, or damage. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and transfers. Generating reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies for management review.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline Inventory Management processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Implementing best practices and technology solutions to optimize inventory control.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as operations managers and customer service representatives, to ensure inventory availability meets customer demand and service level agreements.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors to facilitate inventory audits and inspections. Addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Inventory Management, such as inventory turnover and accuracy rates. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Any other duties as they pertain to the role

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, logistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management, preferably in a cash handling or security-related industry. The successful candidate should demonstrate a track record of successful inventory control, reconciliation, and compliance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Inventory Management principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in inventory levels.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management software, database systems, and Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Inventory Management, security, and compliance within the Cash Logistics industry.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines as needed.
