Ontario Excavac started operations in 1995 with 1 hydrovac truck. Through the years, we built our reputation through a diverse range of knowledge and expertise to become leaders in our industry. Our enduring success comes from the engagement of our people and a culture of collaboration which cultivates a continuous improvement mindset, not only in our work environment but in our work performance too.
Recently we changed our name to OE Utility Services as it is more reflective of the broad range of end-to-end services we provide for utility companies. We have a growing fleet of hydro excavation trucks and support vehicles, with regional business units across Ontario and our main facility in Vaughan.
Reporting to the COO, this role is focused on scaling our business as quickly and sustainably as possible. This will entail working on the development, alignment, and optimization of our company’s operating capabilities with a primary focus on regional business unit expansions, internal new business start-ups and expansions as well as integrating our acquisitions. The overarching objectives are to drive our ability to sustainably meet and exceed Customer expectations, to retain these Customers, and to achieve company growth and profitability goals and objectives.
In collaboration with the COO and other members of the senior management team, the Business Integration Manager will be a key participant focusing on the design and implementation of business plans and operating procedures for new and expanding business units. This role includes helping establish comprehensive business unit plans, setting goals and metrics for performance assessment, and helping build daily operating procedures. This role will help evaluate business unit performance by developing, collecting, analyzing, and assessing data and metrics. This person will be actively involved in helping implement “Lean” processes across our new operations.
The Business Integration Manager will help drive the transition from the Company being largely a hydro-excavation services provider into a diversified utilities infrastructure services business, with operations in an increasing number of locations.
Key outcomes of this role’s overall success are helping build strong capabilities and work execution effectiveness within a vibrant work culture, and delivering continued strong, profitable growth. In addition to supporting current Customers, the role will contribute to the development of high-quality, mutually rewarding new Customer relationships. This position will help strive for consistently exceptional health and safety performance.
This role will help foster a success-oriented, accountable environment that every day lives the Core Values of the Company.
Base salary may vary depending on the candidates’ skills and experience. Compensation also includes a discretionary bonus, RSP matching, paid time off, and participation in the company’s group benefit program.
