Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton Alberta in 1982 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Business Intelligence Operational Specialist to the Scandi Family!

What your day to day will look like:

Reporting into Director of Business Intelligence. This is a 100% permanently remote role with National travel on a quarterly basis. Acting as a main conduit between our Data Analysts and Operations teams working with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Improve Processes; Create and implement improvements to administrative processes to emphasis maximum efficiency. Build and share processes to support the operations teams in meeting goals.
  • Translating Data to Business Goals; Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
  • Project Coordination; Communicate between technical and non technical teams. Supporting and developing KPI's, creating action steps, and reporting on performance evaluation working with leadership to drive changes.
  • Customer Facing; Creating and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with external Clients. Assisting them in evaluating data, executing plans, and reporting on key metrics.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 3-5 years experience as an Analyst, Logistics specialist, or Project Coordinator.
  • Post secondary education in Analytics, Business, or Supply Chain Management considered an asset.
  • Must have advanced level Excel. Understanding of Power BI considered an asset.
  • Ability to adapt communication style acting as main liaison between highly technical and non-technical teams both internally and externally creating strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Solution oriented mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement while demonstrating a sense of urgency and handling multiple priorities at once.

  • 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
  • 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
