Position Overview
As the Business Relationship Manager, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled, all workforce and customer satisfaction targets and contract fiscal targets on their contracts are met. This role will be part of Calian’s Health Services division, and requires you to reside in Western Canada to best meet the business needs of the clients you will be working with.
Responsibilities
- Ensure contract deliverables and compliance is met, with a focus on customer satisfaction and contract retention and/or growth
- manage the gross margin targets in comparison to those targets identified at contract award
- Manage personnel on contracts to ensure workforce satisfaction
- Provide proposal support in contract renewals and new contracts, attend pricing meetings, and reviewing proposals prior to submission
- Contribute to the business unit team, including identifying business opportunities
- Participate in quarterly forecast and annual budget meetings
- Communicate and coordinate with customers, as well as Calian’s internal team (Contract Administrators, Recruiters, Payroll, HR, Finance, etc.) in order to facilitate information flow and manage contracts effectively
Qualifications
- Post secondary education or equivalent in a technical or business field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant administrative/project management experience
- Understand government and/or military contracts, policies and practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to correspond professionally and build relationships easily with internal and external customers
- Ability to work flexible hours and multi-task and handle competing priorities
- Demonstrates exceptional organization skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations
- There will be some travel (up to 30%)

- You will be required to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level
