Cafe Assistant Manager
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Take customer orders and prepare food and beverages according to standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cafe
- Maintain food safety standards following proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead and work well in a team and follow instructions from superiors
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
