CAMPGROUND SUPERINTENDENT (full-time)
LutheRanch is a non-profit charitable corporation that includes a member-only family trailer and mobile home park located south of Owen Sound on Robson Lake near Holland Centre (141 seasonal sites and 16 permanent mobile homes) – a wonderful get-a-way from the demands of everyday life, a place to relax and re-energize. Its facilities include: a baseball diamond, playground, mini-golf course, basketball pad, horseshoe pit, shuffleboard courts, volleyball court, beach, canoeing and fishing, washrooms with showers and laundry room, store and storage area. The Shelter includes a well-equipped kitchen, large meeting area, chapel, table tennis, basketball hoops, youth room, washrooms, and an upper meeting room.
This Campground (Ranch) Superintendent position requires the successful applicant to live on-site. We provide rent free accommodation as part of your compensation package. The home is a lovely lakeview, three-bedroom house, with utilities included.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).

Your Key Responsibilities:
The Campground (Ranch) Superintendent lives on the property year-round providing many services for the membership, with responsibility to manage, monitor and control all LutheRanch facilities, and must be able to serve customers, guests and members in a credible manner ensuring that LutheRanch Rules and Regulations are applied equitably, consistently and fairly to maintain a standard of service and safety consistent with LutheRanch objectives.
- Manage, monitor, maintain and control all LutheRanch property, facilities, equipment and tools.
- Manage and operate the propane filling station according to appropriate safety and licensing legislation and requirements.
- Clear snow from designated roads within LutheRanch as directed by the Board.
- Operate personal vehicle for LutheRanch business as required.
- Approve the location and relocation of trailers, add-a-rooms, decks and sheds as per the approved site plans or decision of the Adjustments Committee; approve service connections as per current LutheRanch Rules and Regulations.
- Provide information to LutheRanch members and guests regarding the use of the Ranch facilities, membership, responding to complaints and resolve problems in a consistent professional manner using LutheRanch Rules and Regulations as a guideline.
- Maintain certification and appropriately apply the duties and responsibilities of the “Operation of Small Drinking Water Systems” course to maintain the safety and integrity of the LutheRanch water system.
- Facilitate compliance with MOE water regulations in cooperation with contracted testing authorities and laboratories.
- Support the Campground (Ranch) Assistant as required.

Your Qualifications:
- Physically capable of heavy work
- Skill and experience in an established trade
- Knowledge of groundskeeping, equipment and tool operations and maintenance
- Valid propane operator’s license (or willing to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, approachable, strong problem solving and resolution skills
- Effective knowledge of digital communication and software related to the research, storing and sharing of necessary information to effectively communicate with the Board and membership on the LutheRanch systems.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Vacation: 3 weeks
