Campus Parking Enforcement Security Guard

Securiguard is looking for experienced security professionals to join our team at a local College Campus.

Our mission at Securiguard is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety and security of students, staff and stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing college policies and procedures, by monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to site, reporting any hazards or security breaches and responding to incidents.

We are currently looking for an individual to fill our Part Time Weekend Security Guard. This is a great opportunity for those looking to advance their career in security.

Position Details:

• Monday to Friday: 1000-1800

Requirements:

• 1+ year of security experience and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid G Driver's License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• Valid Class G Driver's License with clean driving record
• Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive in the campus vehicle to scan parked vehicles throughout the campus
• Issue parking infractions and placing them on windshields
• Daily vehicle inspections and maintaining logs
• Writing reports daily of incidents that occur throughout shift
• Patrol assigned area on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security and monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities
• Implementing standard operating procedures for reporting, and dealing with incidents when applicable
• Carrying out duties while maintaining excellent standards of customer care
• Ensuring guests are abiding by the protocols set out by the college
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring CCTV and investigating areas
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
