Product Expert (Budtender) - Job Description
Hours: Part-Time (15 - 18 hrs/week)
Reports to: Store Manager
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and providing fast and efficient service to create the CANNABIS XPRESS experience
- Represent the legal cannabis industry in a positive manner; Be an engaged member of the local cannabis community
- Provide all cannabis customers with the proper advice so as to ensure long-lasting and meaningful trust and rapport between our customers and our brand
- Educate and advise cannabis customers on all varieties of Cannabis Products and accessories
- Promote quick and efficient access to Cannabis Products to represent our brand identity
- Accountable to all standard operating policies and procedures
- Contribute to a clean and accessible store image by assisting with daily cleaning, merchandising, and sanitary practices
- Abide by all applicable legal regulations and act as a socially responsible cannabis vendor
- Maintain all required certifications to work at a cannabis retail location
- Ensure all proprietary information is kept confidential at all times
- Ancillary tasks may be assigned from time-to-time as required
Requirements:
- Possesses or is qualified to receive CanSell certification
- Must be able to provide a clean background check upon hire
- Must be legal age to work at a cannabis retailer
- Previous experience with Cannabis Products is preferred
- Customer service / retail experience in a fast paced environment is preferred
- Possesses excellent communication skills and level of energy. The ideal candidate should be ready to get our customers excited about their visit and create the CANNABIS XPRESS experience
- Genuine passion for the cannabis industry or cannabis culture
- All education backgrounds will be considered

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

- Cannabis Sales Associates: 1 year (preferred)
