Salary Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking a Full Time Caretaker for a work assignment at Landing Trail School.
Landing Trail School, located in Gibbons, has a student population of approximately 400 students, with approximately 80 students accessing non-denominational Christian faith based (LOGOS) programming. From preschool to grade 4, Landing Trail School offers dynamic and well-rounded programming to support and nurture students’ development to prepare them for a bright future.
FTE: Full Time Permanent; 7 hrs/day; 5 days a week; evenings
Rate of pay: $17.61 - $20.38 per hour, as per the General Employment Conditions
Assignment:
Maintaining the cleanliness of the school through:
Cleaning of washrooms
Mopping, sweeping, waxing and vacuuming floors
Washing walls and lockers
Removal of garbage
Other related duties as assigned
Experience:
WHMIS and First Aid Certification an asset
Experience using floor scrubbers and polishers is an asset
Applicants must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
