Carpenter Helper

Responsibilities:

Assist Carpenters with:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble structures
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with construction painting, caulking, and roofing techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
