Selected candidates will be responsible to help our organization serve potential clients as well as manage those that are actively participating in our supportive recovery program.
Job Description
Ø Conduct receptionist and fulfill office administrative duties during regular work hours.
Ø Book admission intake dates with approved applicants and organize potential applications.
Ø Organize office files and update participant database.
Ø Schedule weekly goal setting and follow up meetings.
Ø Support participants in ways helpful for their recovery.
Ø Administer drug/alcohol tests as necessary.
Ø Monitor participants’ meetings, classes and job readiness training as scheduled.
Ø Issue flag letters and administer disciplinary steps as necessary.
Ø Plan, prep and prepare 3 meals a day.
Ø Organize, sort and store all food donations.
Ø Schedule and oversee participant’s family and other visits at the facility.
Ø Assist our staff in creating an exit plan for participants. Develop a structured follow up for graduates.
Ø Contact graduates and former participants and offer ongoing support.
Ø Occasional duty of transportation of participants.
Ø Direct and involve volunteers.
Residential management
Ø Conduct morning meetings with women at their residences such as well-being checks, chore lists, checking cameras etc.
Ø Making sure rooms are ready for new residents to move in etc.
Ø Keeping residences equipped with necessary hospitality items such as bedding, toiletries, janitorial supplies etc.
Ø Assign lockable storage to clients for personal possession safekeeping i.e. medications and valuables.
Ø Issue medications to participants as required.
Ø Maybe required to teach life skill classes each week. Curriculum and resources provided.
Ø Attending staff and organizational planning meetings.
Experience/Credentials
Some post-secondary education in pastoral ministry, social work, and or counseling would be a benefit. Strong Christian character and maturity. A heart of compassion for marginalized people, (i.e. people trapped in addictions and cycles of defeat).

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off (9am -5pm) On-call periodically.
