Cashier/Clerk

Responsibilities:

-Need to be able to get to and from work on their own

-Must be able to be outside in all weather and be physically able to do some lifting and bending as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items, ensuring pricing accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions to customers
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security

Experience:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Basic math skills for calculating totals, providing change, and processing refunds
- Ability to sell products or services to customers based on their needs
- Knowledge of technical sales or familiarity with electronic devices is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Day range:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
