Our Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer is looking for a casual Clerk Cashierto join our team.
Casual: less than 24 hours/week.
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings (7:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 10:00 PM).
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and respond to customer questions,
- Accurately process sale transactions,
- Bag and assist with carrying out purchases,
- Complete cash up as required,
- Display merchandise,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Exceptional customer service skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
