Part time seasonal position for individuals looking for weekend work.
```Duties:```
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Promote sales by suggesting additional items or offering promotions
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Assist customers with locating the products they are looking for and/or ones suitable for their space
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience in a cashier or sales role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) is a plus
- Knowledge of bedding plants, vegetables, trees, shrubs and perennials is a plus
