Certified Dental Assistant

6-Month Contract! We are looking to add a full-time Certified Dental Assistant to our team on a 6-month contract at Dentistry@Prescott with potential for future employment after the contract expires.

Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 9-5, Fri. 9-4

Position will include vacation time, paid lunch, and bonus incentive.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced dental practice.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are ready
- Take x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using dental software

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of ClearDent is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
