Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming diagnostic casts
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is beneficial
- Familiarity with orthodontics procedures is desirable
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
