POSITION SUMMARY:

The Change Management Specialists will play a key role in the successful implementation and adoption of digital health technologies that TransForm Shared Service Organization (TransForm) manages. By applying a structured Change Management approach and methodology, the Change Management Specialist will apply their technical skills to conduct effective change and adoption activities to support our member hospitals.

The individual selected will need to build and support numerous stakeholder relationships as a vital part of the Change Management mandate. Working with guidance from the Change Management Program Coordinator, the Change Management Specialist is responsible for promoting change benefits, following standardized Change Management processes in order to support the adoption process, including legal, privacy, security, clinical workflow, and educational requirements. The role is dynamic, requiring collaboration with other members of the team and departments within TransForm to achieve program deliverables, adoption targets, and priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Apply a structured Change Management approach and methodology for the “people side of change,” resulting from change efforts.
• Conduct implementation activities, document lessons learned and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
• Ensure the alignment of Change Management activities with the participating member hospitals, to smooth the adoption process and contribute to problem solving resulting in successful implementation.
• Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of successes to foster meaningful use/adoption.
• Work with program stakeholders to customizes readiness, on-boarding, and learning materials for local clinicians and organizations.
• Develop and deliver effective training materials unique to the audience (on-line & written)
• Develop and deliver structured presentations to increase awareness.
• Be an active and visible coach to clinicians and stakeholders.
• Promote and educate the importance of privacy and security measures to all stakeholders.
• Helping to field service calls/tickets/support issues with a positive and supportive service attitude.

WE VALUE:

• Change Management Professional designation an asset
• Previous experience with enabling technologies and digital health within healthcare, including a solid understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) an asset
• Previous working knowledge of an EMR system(s) a strong asset

MUST- HAVES:

• Minimum two (2) year community college diploma in a related field
• Minimum of two to four (2-4) years of in-depth experience in project management or health care experience in a relevant role including projects of a similar scale/scope
• Experience in developing and delivering Change Management and adoption programs including communications, training and adoption strategies
• Excellent relationship building, collaboration, and engagement skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation skills
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and/or learn new system functionality and new technology as a user

OTHER CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to travel within the Southwestern Ontario area, when required
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required
• Must be local and available for on-call

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Salary: $30.26-$35.60 per hour
