Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planning, design, construction and estimation of cost for civil related projects.
• Prepare and review contract drawings and documents.
• Manage construction contract and monitor progress of various projects.
• Prepare budgets and schedules by projecting resource needs and determining priorities.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations regarding designs and reports prepared by technical staff.
• Coordinate civil designs and documents with other in-house design disciplines.
• Liaise with clients and approving authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA.
• Minimum of 5 years of local experience in land development.
• Experience with cost estimating, civil construction management, and construction contract administration.
• Experience with storm water and water system modeling.
• Working knowledge of civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; self-starter and team player.
