SalaryWe are looking for Delivery Drivers with a Class 1license to work out of our Kelowna, BC branch who strive for high levels of customer service, teamwork and efficiencies. We take pride in our fill rates, accuracy, and safety records. Following set Delivery Routes and delivering product orders to retail environments each day with high customer service levels.

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 License
- Recent and satisfactory driver abstract
- Minimum 2 years of heavy truck driving experience preferred
- Only candidates with recent heavy truck experience can be considered
- Some Knowledge of Interior British Columbia an asset
- A criminal Record Check will be conducted upon hiring
- Valid proof of SIN required
Duties & Responsibilities:
This is not your typical driving job. 50% is spent unloading and delivering products to our customers while 50% of the shift is spent driving and operating newer model company-owned vehicles
Shift
- $25 - $28/hr depending on experience
- Tuesday - Saturday
- Monday - Thursday (4x10)
- Territory includes all of the Okanagan, Osoyoos to Vernon, Golden, Revelstoke, Sicamous, Kamloops and Merritt, West Kootenays, 100 Mile to Mackenzie
ROLE:
- Manual deliveries to store locations with minimal skid drops
- Newer model trucks with railgates for direct store and site delivery
- Will train all delivery aspects of the Wallace & Carey processes
- Accurate counts in loading trucks each day and following set Delivery Routes to deliver products to retail store environments.
- Building relationships with customers on each route to help their needs.
- Safe, efficient, and productive deliveries and pickups of the product as per routes
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections
- High level of customer service
- Physically fit and can lift heavy items (up to 50lbs occasionally). Job duties entail delivery to stores with a Dollie/2-wheeler
