Nu Edge Construction is currently hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver in Camrose. This role would be joining Nu Edge Construction Ltd.’s workforce as a valuable colleague!

Details:

● Start Date: April 2024

● Duration: Full Time or Seasonal

● Shift: Monday – Friday. Weekends as required. Overtime as required.

● Location: Camrose AB

● Compensation: $30.00-$40.00

● Benefits: Available after one month of employment

What you do:

• Experience and the ability to operate an end dump, Winch truck, lowboy trailer, jeep, scissor neck
• Experience loading and hauling of heavy equipment, gravel hauling, load securement and the ability to follow directions
• Shop duties, maintenance and various tasks may be required during down time
• Comply with Health and Safety Codes and Legislation
• Use all devices and PPE designated and provided for protection required under the OHS Code

What background and skills qualify you:

● Class 1 Drivers License is Required

● CSTS & WHIMIS (Considered an Asset)

● Will be required to have a clean driver’s abstract

● Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (job specific)

● You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment

● Able to perform physically demanding work that may include carrying heavy objects, and using various equipment

● Labor intensive work at times

● Must be able to work with or around heavy machinery

● Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisor
