Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, scheduling installations and maintenance appointments, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product and service information.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule solar panel installations, maintenance visits, and service calls.
• Manage scheduling software/system to ensure accurate and efficient appointment booking.
• Communicate appointment details to customers and provide reminders as needed.
• Liaise with internal teams, including sales, installation crews, and maintenance technicians, to schedule and coordinate service appointments.
• Ensure all necessary documentation, including contracts, permits, and warranty information, is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
• Track and update customer records, service history, and appointment schedules in the company database.
• Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the customer service and scheduling functions.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to management for improving customer service operations and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service or related field preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of the solar energy industry is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
