The Clinical Operations Assistant will provide clinical and office support to all staff and patients of the WPCN and assist the WPCN leadership in all areas of the business operation, including but not limited to human resources, budgeting, business planning, meeting coordination and calendar management. The role also provides support to the Board of Directors, Governance Committee, other member physicians and additional key stakeholders as needed. This position is located at the WPCN office.
The ideal candidate has:
· A Medical Office Certificate, Medical Office Secretarial Certificate or Secretarial Certificate with Medical Terminology/Health Care Aide Certificate.
· Completed, or working towards a certificate, diploma, or designation program in administration. An equivalent combination of experience and education may also be considered.
· A minimum of 3 years previous experience as an MOA, executive or administrative assistant (or equivalent position).
· Demonstrated strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EMR’s.
· Experience and proficiency in office practices and procedures.
· TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) EMR experience preferred.
· An elevated level of professionalism, demonstrating excellent judgment and maturity to deal with sensitive situations and people.
· A positive disposition and high-level of enthusiasm, compassion, integrity, and ethics.
· Knowledge of Health Information Act and/or Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy. Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
· Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
· The ability to establish and nurture good rapport, and collaborative relationships with patients, families, service providers and professionals in the surrounding communities.
· Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
· A valid driver’s license and own vehicle as travel is required.
· A desire to either live in the rural community being served or at least a strong vested interest in the health of the community to become familiar with the needs, resources, and particular issues unique to each community and each patient.

Salary: $25.53-$35.47 per hour
