Clinical Psychologist

Hello! I’m James, a psychologist and the clinic director at WG Psychology. We’re a Toronto-based mental health clinic that provides compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment for adult clients. We offer psychotherapy from well-supported therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, CPT, and EMDR. We offer both virtual and in-person services.

Come work with us! We’re looking to hire supervised or autonomous Clinical Psychologists, as well as Doctoral students in clinical psychology graduate programs, to expand our multidisciplinary clinical team.

Successful candidates will have experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment with adult clients. Competence to provide therapy with couples would be an asset but is not a requirement. Candidates who are looking for part-time (minimum five clinical hours/week) or full-time positions will be considered.

Our in-person services are available at our office on the corner of Jarvis and Carlton in downtown Toronto. Successful candidates will have the option of working in-person, virtually, or some combination of the two.

The start date for this position is flexible and can be discussed during interview.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology with registration to practice in Ontario, or be enrolled in such a program
• Extensive experience assessing and providing evidence-based treatment for mental health issues with adults
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
