Job Title:Clinical Research Assistant

Reports to: Dr. Sam Hanna and Practice Administrator

Location: Dermatology on Bloor, 29 Park Road, Toronto, ON, M4W 2N2

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Process bloodwork and ship samples in accordance with established policies and procedures

· Electronic data capture entry: meticulously enter data collected from study visits into appropriate database

· Use a database to assist the lead research coordinator with patient recruitment

· File appropriate documents into subject source and regulatory binders.

· Follow up with Principal Investigators for completion of documentation

· Assist the Lead Research Coordinator responding to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.

· Prepare and turnover examination rooms for study coordinators.

· Maintain and order study supplies.

· Assist coordinators in the facilitation of patient visits.

Qualifications:

· GCP / ICH training

· Relevant research experience in a busy private practice or hospital setting

· Willingness to undergo site-specific training

· Phlebotomy training preferred

· Data entry experience preferred

· Experience using electronic medical records (preferably Accuro) and the Microsoft Office Suite

· Positive attitude, self-starter, good team player

· Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
