Job Type: Co-op role for 8 months (May 2024 to January 2025)
myWork Options: Hybrid
Starting Salary Range: $24.00 per hour

  • What's the job?
    Work with Coast Capital Savings' software development team for developing, testing, documenting, and supporting our Core Banking application.
    What you'll get to do:
  • Work with application support to troubleshoot incidents reported by business.
  • Develop and work around/solution to restore the system services.
  • Run query report as per business request.
  • Work with core-banking vendor to resolve the software problem and deploy software fixes in non-production and production environments.
  • Review and test the recommendation solution/package delivered by the Vendor.
  • Support end of end testing process.

  • Who are we looking for?
  • Students in 3rd or 4th year studies in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Student with previous co-op experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in any programming language.
  • Experience programming in BASIC is an asset.
  • Knowledge in any DBMS e.g., SQL, Oracle; basic accounting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform code analysis.
  • Good oral and written communication.
