Collision Repair Technician

The Collision Repair Technician is responsible for making repairs to all assigned vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards and factory specifications.

Experience/Skill Requirements

• 3-5 years of auto body Collision Repair experience required
• Performing structural and complete body repairs
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Inspect vehicles according to requirements and ensure all repairs are completed
• Test drive vehicle to verify soundness
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safe
• Experience using frame and measuring equipment
• History of working independently and in a team environment

What you bring to the table

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Highly organized, and able to handle multiple concurrent assignments
• Trade certificate 310B or are looking for a 310B Apprenticeship
• Physically capable of doing the job which includes frequently bending, crouching, reaching
• Ability to handle tools and lift approximately 50lbs
• Consistently able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
• Use your own tools

Wage - starting at $26 depending on experience

Hours - Mon to Friday 8am, to 5pm

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort Erie, ON L2A 3T8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• auto body repair: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• 310B Certificate (preferred)
