Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Optimal Air is seeking a licensed refrigeration & air conditioning mechanic or 3rd, 4th to 5th year apprentice with either gas fitter 1 or 2 license for commercial & industrial refrigeration service work. The candidate will be responsible for completing service calls on commercial systems such as walk-in coolers & freezers, air conditioning systems, data room air conditioners (Lieberts), cooling towers, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years service experience on commercial air conditioning systems.
• some service experience on Commercial Refrigeration systems.
• Relationship management skills.
• 313A journeyman/journeywoman status or 3rd, 4th to 5th year apprentice & gas fitter 2 license (minimum) or Gas fitter 1
• Able to troubleshoot & diagnose independently.
• Clean drivers abstract.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing service calls, maintenance & installations for commercial & industrial air conditioning & refrigeration systems.
• Completing work orders & timesheets electronically.
• Maintaining & tracking truck stock.

Salary: $20.00-$58.00 per hour
