Commercial Refrigeration Technician role:

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses on commercial food preparation equipment
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment (hot & cold) such as combi-ovens,walk in coolers, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, blast chillers, hot cases, convection ovens, pizza ovens, toasters, heat lamps etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment
• Produce accurate records of performed work, parts and supplies, and time via a tablet
• Effectively communicate options and an action plan with the clients, including price quotes
• Communicate on a regular basis with the corporate team
• Enter all information regarding service calls, parts, work performed, recommendations via Tablet
• Participate in training both in class and manufacturer held training classes in order to remain updated with the industry developments

Requirements:

• 313A Refrigeration License an asset
• G2 Gas License
• Computer literate (ability to create work orders, enter notes, enter parts information etc. into a Tablet is mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Clean driving record, G license
• Clear criminal record
• Basic tools
• Experience working with commercial food preparation equipment an asset
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients
• Solid understanding of the importance of customer service and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $34.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
