  • Assist and review concrete locations.

  • Under direct supervision review quality of Work and provide feedback.

  • Inspect completion and temporary pedestrian traffic control, and document, with the guidance of the supervisor.

  • Assist with data input.

  • Map locations required for inspection.

 
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a third year related degree program.

  • Intermediate proficiency using Excel and ArcGIS.

  • A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than six demerits.

  • Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a high degree of customer focus, the ability to manage time effectively and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.

 
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
  • Must obtain a City of Calgary operator's permit.

  • A security clearance will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
 
Pre-employment Drug Test:An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.
