Job Description:
We are actively seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager with expertise in heavy civil and bridge construction, focusing on municipal and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurate project interpretation, estimating, procurement, scheduling, budget monitoring, and overall project management.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret project drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
- Prepare detailed estimates utilizing cost history and experience.
- Solicit quotations and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attend site visits, pre-bid, and pre-award meetings.
- Assist in tender closing and delivery processes.
- Manage Excess Soil requirements for projects.
- Conduct post-bid analysis and report tender results.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets.
- Assist with job cost setup and monitor project performance.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Control/Quality Assurance requirements.
- Handle change orders and claims, including negotiations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Provide performance status reports on cost forecasts, schedule, and safety.
- Enforce contractual responsibilities and efficiently resolve disputes.
- Verify and prepare progress billings to owners and subcontractors.
- Liaise with authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with the quality control plan.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
- C.E.T or Civil Engineering Technologist education preferred.
- Construction experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated reliability in work attendance.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to ethical work practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt within the construction industry.
- Availability for flexible work hours, including Saturdays.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
Compensation is based of Set Salary and Bonus Schedule by Performance

Salary: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
