What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Enterprise Innovation team, supporting the Director, Strategy & Engagement. In this role, you will work with partners and internal teams to facilitate the execution of multiple high-profile events, acting as the central point of contact throughout the event planning process. You will be applying strong relationship management skills to negotiate and resolve conflicts and manage community involvement. Acting as a resource integrator for their area, the role oversees the communication of events and provides post-event reporting.
How you'll succeed
Attention to detail – ensure a high level of organization when managing multiple engagements a month, with various stakeholders and updates required. Manage the reporting to ensure you are capturing and communicating the impact of the team.
Relationships – foster strong connections with Corporate Events to ensure smooth execution every month and work closely with the facilities and events teams to deliver hybrid experiences that are high quality for all attendees and stakeholders.
Teamwork – support your peers, leaders and colleagues as needed. Be focused on being one team and encouraging others along the way.
Who you are
You have experience running events end-to-end. Being familiar with run sheets, public speaking, managing deadlines and detailed workbooks.
You can demonstrate experience in visual and graphic design, and have a passion for creating memorable and impactful experiences for people.
