SalaryContents Technician/General Labourer:
Service Master is a disaster restoration company. We provide emergency response, restoration and rebuilding services to the residential, commercial, industrial, and insurance industry. We supply 24/7 emergency service, caused by water, fire, mold, winds, environmental issues, and restoration of furniture.
The role can involve packing and moving household content, demolition work and general cleaning.
The ideal candidate will have:
*At least 2 years industry related experience would be an asset but not required.
* A strong willingness be motivated to learn, willing to mentor and be mentored, as we develop their leadership capabilities.
* Is someone who brings with them a positive attitude and an open mind to new processes and efficiencies.
This position incorporates mostly field level activities within the contents job and is a great avenue to growing competencies and a career path.
Responsibilites:
- Learn and implement all health and safety procedures within the company.
- Learn and practice proper procedures for all emergency services.
- Perform proper handling of contents within service.
- Manage emergency response activities, including clearing contents, flooring, mitigation, drywall, etc.
- Setting up equipment as needed.
- Containing a Drivers License.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the emergency/restoration within the emergency, content and cleaning fields.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Water Remediation Technician certification considered an asset.
- Independently carrying out assignments.
Interested candidates should be able and willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation. Works well as a member of a team or group, and independently. Those who meet the qualifications of the position will be contacted for an interview.
